Sidewinder by WolfandAngel

Project log: Here

We'd received a few emails about this one, namely along the lines of 'OMG! Sidewinder FTW in MOTM!' Truth be told though, we'd already spotted this stunning project and were just as impressed with it as you all seemed to be!

The huge array of mostly identical vents reminded us a bit of the Alienware Aurora ALX however we'd have to say that WolfandAngel has a much more awesome-looking machine in the works if these early renders are anything to go by.

The vents were machined in one go following a series of mock-ups that let WolfandAngel get the size and shape exactly right. It looks like the previous project to come out of this workshop might have been the batmobile.

Installing the plates didn't take long and the hole centre section was covered in a mean-looking layer of the things in fairly short order.

Of course, the real eye candy came when the case got its lighting and I'm sure you'll agree that Sidewinder is looking absolutely awesome.

Make sure you keep your eyes on this one and if you'd like to vote for WolfandAngel's promising scratch build, head over to our forums.
